With a hardness of 8, its durable enough for an engagement/everyday wear ring and has an incredible vitreous lustre. It literally glows in low light! We typically cut the facets larger with spinel so they have a romantic, vintage feel. The best part of spinel, the price point! Lower than a sapphire but with the same hardness and durability!
